1. About Fixing Expert
Fixing Expert is an independent home appliance repair and service provider based in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu. We provide doorstep service to customers in selected service areas, including Madurai, subject to service availability.
We are an independent third-party service provider and are not an authorized service center, dealer, or representative of any appliance manufacturer unless specifically stated otherwise.
2. Services
Our services may include inspection, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, installation, uninstallation, and replacement of appliance parts, depending on the appliance and the nature of the problem.
Service availability may vary depending on the customer’s location, appliance type, model, technical issue, and availability of technicians or spare parts.
3. Service Request and Appointment
Customers may contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email, website enquiry form, or other available communication methods to request a service.
Submitting a service request does not automatically guarantee an appointment. Appointments are subject to technician availability and confirmation.
Customers are requested to provide accurate information about their appliance, location, contact details, and reported problem.
4. Inspection and Diagnosis
A technician may inspect the appliance before recommending a repair or solution.
The initial information provided by the customer may not be sufficient to determine the exact cause of a problem. The final diagnosis may only be possible after physical inspection of the appliance.
Additional problems may be identified during inspection that were not reported or visible initially.
5. Service Charges
Service, inspection, labour, installation, transportation, spare parts, and other applicable charges may vary depending on the appliance, location, type of repair, and work required.
Any applicable charges will be communicated to the customer before proceeding with major repair work or replacement of parts, wherever reasonably possible.
6. Spare Parts
Where replacement parts are required, the availability, price, and compatibility of the part may vary according to the appliance model.
Customers may be informed about available replacement options before installation.
Fixing Expert does not guarantee the availability of original manufacturer parts for every appliance. Third-party, compatible, refurbished, or equivalent parts may be used where applicable and agreed upon by the customer.
7. Payment
Customers are responsible for paying the applicable service and repair charges after the service is completed or according to the payment terms communicated at the time of booking.
Payment methods may include cash, UPI, bank transfer, or other payment methods made available by Fixing Expert.
8. Warranty
Any warranty provided on a repair or replacement part will depend on the specific service or part and will be communicated to the customer at the time of service.
Warranty may not cover physical damage, liquid damage, electrical fluctuations, misuse, unauthorized repair or modification, pest damage, accidents, or problems unrelated to the original repair.
Warranty terms may vary depending on the spare part and service performed.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the appliance and ensuring that the technician can perform the requested service.
Customers should disclose any known problems, previous repairs, modifications, physical damage, or other relevant information about the appliance.
Fixing Expert may decline or postpone service if the working environment is unsafe or if the appliance presents a significant safety risk.
10. Existing Damage and Appliance Condition
Home appliances may have pre-existing damage, wear and tear, corrosion, electrical faults, water damage, or other underlying issues.
Fixing Expert is not responsible for pre-existing defects or damage that are unrelated to the service performed.
If an appliance is extremely old, damaged, unsafe, or technically beyond economical repair, the technician may recommend replacement rather than repair.
11. Service Results
While we make reasonable efforts to provide professional service, repair results may depend on the age, condition, design, and overall condition of the appliance.
Repairing one fault does not necessarily prevent another independent fault from occurring later.
Fixing Expert does not guarantee that an appliance will operate indefinitely after repair.
